Jonah Minkus is a dynamic 22-year-old drummer and producer from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He has swiftly made a name for himself in the jazz and indie music scene around the Southwest and beyond.

His versatility shines through in his collaborations with a wide range of artists, including avant-gardist Chris Jonas, and jazz luminaries like Delbert Anderson, Cyrus Campbell, Evan Fort, Robert Muller and Artha Meadors. Additionally, Jonah's adaptability extends to the indie scene, where he has toured with acts such as Zivi, Homebody and Ezrakh opening for Geese, Mikeala Davis, Kendra Morris, Balthvs and Brainstory.

Jonah's talent has earned him notable opportunities, including performing at the Telluride Jazz Festival in Colorado under the direction of the legendary Rufus Reid, and gracing the international stage at the Saulkrasti Jazz Festival in Latvia. His ability to captivate audiences with his drumming prowess has made him a sought-after performer in New Mexico, where he collaborates with many respected musicians and versatile bands on stage and in the studio.

Beyond drumming, Jonah is a producer and songwriter, creating production discs for ESPN alongside collaborators Jabez Ledres and Kendall Jones. He is also one half of the indie duo Sightseeing with Sylas Rood, pushing creative boundaries through self-produced music. Their 2023 album, With All The Noise, was recorded almost entirely in a dorm room.
